economy and low wage workers

Economic structure has been the major cause of human interaction for quite a long time now. The oppression has been inevitable considering the status and roles people played in the society. In society like ours the acceptance of each role is not considered as everything seems to depend on how each status gets treated with different gestures.

Low wage workers represent the vast majority of the group dealing with the large economic burden. The constant need for struggling to keep food on the table to meet the basic requirements of life implies a responsibility. The subjugation has been the major cause of decrease in the national income let alone the economic stability.

In the massive crisis dealt by the people, be it during wars or during an outbreak of something as deadly as a pandemic, the most affected group are always those not favored by the economy. They struggle to keep the peace with food and education while getting health facilities is deemed as a privilege. Economy has been a burden to most of all rather than a source of exchange of goods. For low wage workers, it's an exchange of their skill, labor and will for something far less invaluable.

Sadly, for a small third world country like Nepal, a healthy economy never sides with low wage laborers. But we can always be hopeful for better communal lives without any sort of economic burdens to care for for the sake of survival.
